Penn State's "White Out" game is one of the most unique traditions in sports. Founded in the early 2000s, it has made for an intense football atmosphere for the Nittany Lions.
Now, Oregon will take part in the game for a rematch of the 2024 Big Ten Championship.
The Oregon Ducks head to Beaver Stadium on September 27 to face Penn State. It's the first "White Out" matchup for Oregon.
Penn State is 13-8 during the "White Out" game. The football program has won six straight games since 2019, with no game in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Penn State has a 3-2 edge against Oregon, beating the Ducks in the Big Ten Championship last year, the first matchup between both schools since 1995.

The tradition started thanks to passionate students. It went from word of mouth to one of the best atmospheres to watch a game.
"Once you see it in person for the first time, you can really appreciate it," ESPN's Chris Fowler said in 2021. "It looks phenomenal on TV and I call it the most telegenic experience in sports, because it's a night game and the stadium is lit up by everybody wearing white, the fireworks and the game ops — everything is just beautifully executed."
