Patriots vs. Raiders tickets: How to buy, prices, kickoff time for 2025 NFL Week 1 game in New England

The Patriots and Raiders have many connections, including many past trades, many players who have played for both franchises, three-time Pats offensive coordinator and one-time Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels, and, of course, Pats GOAT-turned-Vegas minority owner Tom Brady. Now, New England and Vegas will tussle on opening Sunday of the 2025 NFL season.

The Pats will host their friendly foes at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, where the recently-revealed statue of Brady will be just one month old. This should be one heck of a Week 1 game, as both teams have made significant improvements since 2024.

For the Pats, Drake Maye has plenty of help offensively. New England bulked up its offensive line, signed Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and drafted running back TreVeyon Henderson. The Pats also beefed up their defensive depth chart, hired former Pats linebacker Mike Vrabel as head coach, and brought back McDaniels and brought in defensive coordinator Terrell Williams.

As for the Raiders, they acquired Geno Smith to take over at quarterback and drafted Boise State phenom Ashton Jeanty to lead the charge at running back. Like pass-rusher Maxx Crosby and tight end Brock Bowers, Jeanty could easily become the best at his position early into his NFL career. 

One thing's for sure: this should be a competitive game. Las Vegas has won the past two meetings between these franchises, but New England won the previous six. This will mark the first-career matchup between Maye and Smith, the latter of whom used to play for the Pats' AFC East-rival Jets.

Tickets for the Patriots-Raiders season-opener in New England are available now on StubHub. It's a high-demand event, but as of mid-May plenty of seats could still be found for a little over $200 each.
