Known for bringing the house down wherever they go, iconic rock band Foreigner will continue to do so in 2026, but with a twist.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Foreigner will go on tour, but they won’t be alone. The band will be joined by a 20-piece orchestra. Cellist Dave Eggar will write the arrangements, while Chick Palmer will serve as conductor.

Formed in 1976, Foreigner has produced hits that include “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” and “Juke Box Hero.” They have been nominated for several Grammy and American Music Awards.

The band was thinking of hanging things up, but recently changed course. This comes after a transition in singers from Kelly Hansen to Luis Maldonado.

“There’s just a lot of forward movement, and the band is incredibly excited,” Jeff Pilson told Billboard. “What started off as being a farewell tour now ended up being Kelly’s last tour and (the band) moving forward.”

The Sporting News has everything you need to know to grab tickets to one of Foreigner's upcoming shows on the upcoming orchestral tour.
