Defensively, the Auburn pass-rush will be led by stud edge rusher Amaris Williams, who has already generated plenty of NFL buzz. He had an underwhelming 2024, but many believe he's due for a breakout after a strong offseason.

It won't be an easy schedule, by any measure. Auburn has home games against Alabama and Georgia, and road tilts at Baylor, Oklahoma and Texas. That doesn't make for an easy path to nine wins, which the Tigers have been projected to finish with in 2025, but at least they only have two road games total in October and November.
