The 2018 U.S. Open, the tennis season's fourth and final Grand Slam, begins Monday, Aug. 27, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York's Flushing Meadows and will conclude with the women's singles championship Saturday, Sept. 8, and the men's singles final Sunday, Sept. 9. 

In the women's draw, No. 20 Naomi Osaka defeated pre-tournament favorite and No. 17 seed Serena Williams, but the match was not without controversy.

In the men's draw, No. 6 Novak Djokovic defeated No. 3 seed Juan Martin Del Potro for his 14th Grand Slam title.
