The Houston Dash and the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced Wednesday a joint donation to support relief efforts for communities affected by recent flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

The initiative expands on ongoing support from the Houston Dynamo Football Club, which has pledged solidarity with Texans facing the aftermath of devastating floods this week.

“Our hearts are with all those impacted by the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country. The Houston Dash stand with our fellow Texans — and we’re committed to helping our neighbors recover,” the club said in a statement shared on social media.

In partnership with the NWSL, the Dash are making a donation to relief efforts and encouraging fans to contribute. All donations made to Dynamo & Dash Charities through the designated link will go directly to Kerr County relief efforts, according to the club.

“Texas shows up. Let’s prove it again. Donate now,” the statement read.

The flooding in Central Texas has prompted extensive relief efforts, with local organizations and sports teams uniting to provide assistance and resources to those impacted. Donations have poured in from the Houston community, including contributions from the Texans, Astros, and Dallas Cowboys, amounting to over $2.5 million collectively.
