After two weeks of intense action, USA and Mexico are the last two standing. The neighboring nations will clash in the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in Houston on Sunday.

The USMNT have not had it easy this tournament, with Mauricio Pochettino missing several key players such as Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Tim Weah, Gio Reyna, and Antonee Robinson.

Despite that, USA have pushed through to their 13th Gold Cup Final with narrow victories against Costa Rica and Guatemala.

On the other hand, Mexico have been dominant en route the final, having only conceded two goals in the entire tournament. They have kept clean sheets in their last four games, including their semifinal win over Honduras.

They will look to further cement their legacy in CONCACAF history, by becoming the first side to win the Gold Cup on 10 different occasions.

This will be the eighth Gold Cup final contested between the two sides, with Mexico emerging as victors in five of these clashes. However, USA have got the better of El Tri in the last four finals they have competed in, including the 2021 Gold Cup.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match and kickoff times.
