Real Madrid are considering making a shock swoop for PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is locked in contract talks with the French side.
Donnarumma was one of PSG’s stars during their Champions League-winning campaign, played in all 15 games, made 39 saves, and kept six clean sheets.
But despite the player's good season, PSG has proposed a lower salary than the €10–12 million [$11m-13m] per year he currently earns.
The goalkeeper arrived on a free transfer in 2021 and is under contract until June 2026.

Real Madrid eye long-term replacement.
Madrid still has Thibaut Courtois, but the Belgian turned 33 this year and missed most of the season due to injury, and Donnarumma is being considered as a long-term replacement, especially with his high-level experience and potential availability at a reduced price.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Donnarumma is open to a move abroad.
