The NRL has made the historic decision to launch their 2024 season in Las Vegas with two matches to be played in the famous US city.

In a double header to be played on Saturday March 2 (local time) at Allegiant Stadium, the Broncos, Sea Eagles, Roosters and Rabbitohs will be the four teams involved.

The matches will air in Australia on Sunday afternoon.

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo was excited to take Australian rugby league to a new frontier.

"The 2024 Las Vegas matches will form part of an exciting ‘Australia Week’ in Las Vegas where we will be showcasing rugby league and Australia to the US market," Abdo said.

"We are now working collaboratively with the four clubs to finalise arrangements for the proposed matches in Las Vegas and make this a blockbuster event for fans by maximising travel, attendance and enjoyment of a unique rugby league experience.

"Rugby league will be on a stage which the sport has simply never been on before and we look forward to giving all clubs the opportunity in coming years."

Who will play in the NRL Las Vegas 2024 matches?

Sydney Roosters, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Manly Sea Eagles and Brisbane Broncos will be the four teams involved in the Las Vegas matches.

Which teams are playing each other is yet to be decided.

Where will the NRL Las Vegas 2024 matches be played?

Two of the NRL's season opening matches will be played at Allegiant Stadium, which is located in Paradise, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The capacity of the stadium is 65,000 for the NFL.

It is the home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.

Tickets are not yet on sale with details to still be finalised.

Abdo confirmed the NRL are continuing to work with the four clubs to complete the arrangements.
