Arsenal will aim to keep the pressure on champions Manchester City when they travel to face bitter rivals Tottenham in Sunday's north London derby.

Mikel Arteta's side were in sparkling form as they demolished Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday night, although City responded in kind by swatting Brighton aside 4-0 48 hours later.

The weekend visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is arguably Arsenal's toughest remaining assignment and they need only look to Liverpool's midweek ordeal at Everton to see how a showdown with your neighbours can undermine title ambitions.

Spurs are still in the hunt for a fourth-placed finish, six points behind Aston Villa in the final guaranteed Champions League qualification spot but with two games in hand.

One of those is against City, however, and Ange Postecoglou will want to see a response from the 4-0 defeat at Newcastle that his players have been forced to stew upon for two weeks.

Tottenham were without first-choice left-back Destiny Udogie after his campaign was ended by thigh surgery. Ben Davies slotted in at left-back, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Dejan Kulusevski also came into the team that were beaten 4-0 at Newcastle a fortnight ago.

Tottenham (4-2-3-1, right to left): Vicario (GK) — Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies — Bentancur, Hojbjerg — Kulusevski, Maddison, Werner — Son.

Arteta had a fully fit squad to pick from and named an unchanged XI from the side that hammered Chelsea 5-0.

Arsenal (4-3-3, right to left): Raya (GK) — White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu — Odegaard, Partey, Rice — Saka, Havertz, Trossard.
