The Preakness 2017: Odds favor Always Dreaming in quest for Triple Crown image

It's no surprise that Always Dreaming has the best odds to win the 2017 Preakness Stakes, which will take place Saturday, May 20, at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

Thanks to his impressive Kentucky Derby win, Always Dreaming is the clear favorite to win the 142nd running of the Preakness Stakes on his quest for horse racing's Triple Crown. However, fellow Derby contenders Classic Empire and Lookin at Lee aren't far behind in the odds.

The Preakness, of course, is the second leg of the Triple Crown, which includes the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes (June 10). If Always Dreaming can also win the Preakness, he'll likely be the favorite at Belmont and a good bet to become the 13th Triple Crown winner, and first since American Pharoah in 2015.

Here are the odds to win the 2017 Preakness Stakes; post time for the Preakness is set for 6:45 p.m. ET.
