NCAA gymnastics semifinals results: Final scores, winners for 2023 women's college championships image

The 2023 NCAA gymnastics championships kicked off Thursday with dual semifinal sessions, and a lot was riding on them.

Eight teams, four in each bracket, competed in Fort Worth. The top two finishers in each session advanced to Saturday's finals: LSU and Florida from Session I, Utah and reigning national champion Oklahoma from Session II.

The individual championships were taking place at the same time. Michigan's Abby Heiskell won the all-around, edging Ohio State's Payton Harris 39.5000-39.3750.

There were two perfect 10s Thursday, both in the second session. UCLA's Jordan Chiles scored one on bars and Utah's Maile O'Keefe scored one on beam.

How to watch NCAA gymnastics championships

  • TV channels: ESPN2, ABC
  • Live streams: ESPN+, ESPN app, Fubo

The NCAA women's gymnastics championship will take place over three days and three sessions.

The semifinal sessions were on Thursday, April 13, and broadcast live on ESPN2. The final session will take place at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 15, and be broadcast live on ABC.

The ESPN family of networks will also provide live streams of singular events and special commentary from former Olympians and collegiate stars Bart Conner, Kathy Johnson Clarke and Samantha Peszek. There will also be a quad-box viewing option and a Spanish-language viewing option, all on ESPN+.

In addition, the crews' commentary will be boosted by the use of "Tech Tools," according to the network, including height and distance markers on vault, protractors for body angle and a height grid on bars, and what the network called a "split-o-meter" on beam.
