Capitals forward T.J. Oshie became a Stanley Cup champion Thursday night. The victory meant so much more to him than just becoming part of hockey lore.

Oshie said after Washington's clinching Game 5 victory that his father, Tim, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, was in the crowd at Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
