The NHL is full of all-time legends who have won the Stanley Cup Playoffs with multiple teams. Wayne Gretzky, Jaromir Jagr, and Mark Messier have all had success with various organizations, but it's Brad Marchand who accomplished a feat for the first time in the league's history.

Marchand is the first player in NHL history to score 5+ goals in a single Stanley Cup Final with two different teams, via OptaSTATS. Marchand recorded five goals in the finals with the Boston Bruins when he won his first Stanley Cup in 2011. He scored his fifth in a two-goal performance in Game 7.

Now, 14 years later, Marchand scored two in a crucial Game 5 to put the Florida Panthers one win away from their second straight title.

It isn't the first time the feat has happened, as Mario Lemieux also scored 5+ goals in two different finals, but his was both with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Regardless, in the long history of the league, Marchand standing alongside Lemieux with this stat shows just how special of a player he is.

Marchand was already a candidate for the Hockey Hall of Fame when his career ended. If the Panthers can finish the job and get Marchand his second championship, especially considering the role he played in the victory, his Hall of Fame candidacy is all but guaranteed.
