There has been some chatter among New York Giants fans that they have found the next Saquon Barkley in electric fifth-round draft pick Tyrone Tracy.

Barkley reminded everyone on Sunday that he is one of one.

On the Philadelphia Eagles’ fourth drive of the game, Barkley caught a little swing pass out of the backfield from quarterback Jalen Hurts, slipped a tackle, and then morphed into video game mode.

He hit the spin button to make another Jacksonville Jaguars defender miss before pulling off the never before seen backwards huddle move:

You’re more likely to see that kind of a highlight in a game of Madden. Even then, folks would probably complain of a glitch.

Barkley has had a few next-level games in his first season with the Eagles, and by halftime, Sunday’s home game against Jacksonville was one of them. He helped end Philly’s season-long scoreless streak in the first quarter on a gorgeous, 20-yard touchdown reception from Hurts.

He added a 19-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter, hitting the turbo button after reaching the second level of Jacksonville’s overmatched defense:

Barkley amassed 101 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns over the first two quarters, helping the Eagles build a 16-0 lead at the break.
