Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts reveals what sport he’d play if he left the NFL image

Jalen Hurts is just fine playing quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

It doesn't hurt that he's a defending Super Bowl champion, either.

But there's another sport he wouldn't mind playing.

In the Eagles' 2025 media guide, Hurts was asked what he'd do athletically if not football.

His answer: “I’d go team up with Bryce Harper and the Phillies and play shortstop or center field."

Phillies fans may have perked up a bit at that. Philadelphia really needs a centerfielder to help win the NL East this season.

Hurts certainly has the speed and strength. It's easy to imagine him being a strong baseball defender with enough reps in the outfield.

Hitting is a whole different animal. Hitting MLB pitching is the hardest thing to do in sports. If Hurts could figure that out, now that'd be impressive.
