The Philadelphia Eagles entered Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. They then lost backup Kenny Pickett to a rib injury midway through the third quarter.

No matter: Third-string QB Tanner McKee tossed the first two touchdown passes of his pro career, Saquon Barkley exploded for 167 rushing yards after a quiet first half, and the Eagles routed Dallas, 41-7, to officially clinch the NFC East division title at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles locked themselves into at least the No. 2 seed for the upcoming NFL playoffs. They’ll need a Vikings loss to the Packers on Sunday night, and a Lions loss to the 49ers on Monday to stay alive for the No. 1 seed entering Week 18.

Philly’s win ended Washington’s slim hopes of stealing the division title. The Commanders entered the weekend with the inside track for the NFC’s No. 7 seed, meaning Round 3 between the Eagles and Commanders could be coming on wild-card weekend.
