Is Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium? Latest news on Chiefs vs. Jets guest amid Travis Kelce dating rumors image

Welcome to New York?

When the NFL schedule was released in May, many fans circled what was supposed to be Patrick Mahomes vs. Aaron Rodgers. Instead, when the Chiefs and Jets take the field on Sunday night, all eyes might be on Taylor Swift.

Swift was just as much of a story as the Chiefs' beatdown of the Bears in Week 3, as she added fuel to the rumors that she's dating Travis Kelce by watching the game from an Arrowhead Stadium suite next to Kelce's mother Donna.

From one struggling quarterback to another, the Chiefs are now headed to MetLife Stadium to face a Jets team in disarray. New York has lost back-to-back games with Zach Wilson under center, and coach Robert Saleh is resisting calls for a change at the position. With the Chiefs' defense arguably playing at its highest level in a number of years, Sunday could mark another sizable win for Kansas City. Will Swift be there to see it?

Here are the latest updates on whether Swift will be in attendance at MetLife Stadium for the Chiefs' "Sunday Night Football" game against the Jets.

Is Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium?

It isn't clear whether Swift plans to be at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night. The Chiefs won't be playing at home, unlike Week 3, so it might be tougher for Swift to get all of the accommodations she needs in the venue.

Swift did, however, return to New York on Tuesday, two days after the Chiefs' win over the Bears. Daily Mail reported that she flew to New Jersey on a private jet and was seen being driven to one of her Manhattan residences. Since Swift lives in New York, showing up at MetLife Stadium on Sunday might not be too difficult.

What we do know is that Swift's "Eras Tour" won't keep her from attending the game. The concert tour doesn't pick up again until Nov. 9, when Swift takes it international in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From there, the star will head to Brazil before resuming in Japan in February 2024.

The tour should take Swift out of commission for the Chiefs' games against the Dolphins (Germany), Eagles and Raiders in November. Interestingly, Swift is set to perform in Japan the day before Super Bowl 58, so it certainly seems unlikely that she would be able to attend the big game if the Chiefs get there for the fourth time in the last five years.

All things considered, though, it would make sense that Swift attends Sunday's game given her proximity to MetLife Stadium, barring any other travel plans.

Kelce might have known exactly what he was doing by asking her to watch the Chiefs face the Bears, and with the way the Jets have been playing, Sunday night's game could be just as much of a blowout in Kansas City's favor.
