Jon Gruden likes quarterbacks. Anyone who has heard him call a game knows that. There are very few quarterbacks that Gruden doesn't like, and apparently, he's taken a liking to Johnny Manziel.

The former Raiders and Bucs coach recently spent time with the Cleveland quarterback as he prepares for his second NFL season, according to ESPN.

Gruden, who currently works as an analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Football, expressed interest in Manziel prior to the 2014 NFL Draft. He runs a QB camp segment on ESPN from time to time, tutoring young quarterbacks in the film room.

"I want Manziel," Gruden said in a conference call.

Manziel played in five games and started two last season, and he struggled mightily. The Heisman-winning quarterback completed just 51 percent of his passes and compiled a quarterback rating of 42.

Hopefully Gruden makes Manziel watch a clip of Peyton Manning walking onto the field over and over again like he did with Cam Newton.
