The Giants play a very local preseason schedule this year. After defeating the Bills in Week 1, the team stays at home to play the Jets.
It's technically a home game for both squads since they share a field, but the Giants will have the home-field advantage on paper. Both teams won their first preseason game, so this will determine who remains undefeated.
Jaxson Dart impressed for the Giants in his debut, as did Adrian Martinez for the Jets. Neither are expected to start this season with veterans ahead on the depth charts, but it's encouraging signs for teams without a clear future at the position.
Both New York clubs are looking to return to the playoffs and play meaningful games for their fans. It could be some time until this comes to fruition, however.
