It's not training camp until things get heated between two competitors, and it only took three practices before the first fight broke out for the Indianapolis Colts.

After a 1-on-1 rep between Michael Pittman Jr. and Jaylon Jones, the latter was flagged for holding or defensive pass interference.

An argument ensued and the punches flew, according to Jake Arthur of Horseshoe Huddle. Pittman and Jones had to be restrained by the coaching staff until cooler heads prevailed.

"I mean that’s training camp, right? They have scuffles out there, and they'll put it to bed though," head coach Shane Steichen said after practice.

It doesn't appear there was any video of the fight, but we'll update this post if it does surface.

This isn't a shocking situation at all, especially with Pittman, who is one of the fiercest competitors on the Colts roster.

While it's never a good sign when punches are thrown, training camp is a serious time when tensions are high on both sides of the ball.

As long as its kept on the field and doesn't progress further, then this is just another day in the life of NFL training camp.
