According to MidAmerica Nazarene's athletics page, the Atlanta Falcons have signed Pioneers defensive back Anthony Sao to become an undrafted free agent.
While injuries limited his 2023 campaign, Sao led the Pioneers in interceptions (4) and pass breakups (8). Sao recorded a 37.5-inch vertical and 10' broad jump in his pro day performance.
The Falcons did not address the cornerback position in the draft, despite their need for another opposite A.J. Terrell. With Sao, they are taking a low-cost chance to help out their secondary.
