New York Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence just got paid.

The Giants added $3 million in incentives to his contract, one that was set to pay him $17 million this season, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.

Lawrence signed a four-year, $87.5 million extension with the Giants in 2023. He's under contract for the next three seasons, and there's no doubt that at just 27 years old, he's headed for another massive deal once his current one expires.

Dexter Lawrence's annual average salary currently ranks ninth among interior defensive linemen, and he trails Chris Jones, the highest-paid defensive lineman, by nearly $10 million per season.

Lawrence finished the 2024 season with 44 tackles and a career-high nine sacks. He's the lynchpin on a defense that features a trio of elite pass rushers in Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and rookie first-round pick Abdul Carter.
