After spending his college career between USC and Ole Miss, Jaxson Dart was drafted by the New York Giants during the 2025 NFL Draft.
Dart was one of the top quarterback prospects in the draft, and ended up being the second signal caller off the board at pick No. 25 after Cam Ward went No. 1 overall to the Titans.

Who is Jaxson Dart's mom?
Dart's mom is Kara Dart. She used to work for the retail company Nordstrom and now runs a fitness-based program, which can be seen on her Instagram page, @runningwithkara. According to The Playoffs, Kara Dart ran track and played volleyball in high school.
She is married to Brandon Dart, Jaxson's father, who played football at the University of Utah. Jaxson Dart is one of five siblings, having two brothers and two sisters.
The quarterback has attributed his fashion sense to his mother, telling GQ he's always been "in tune with the fashion trends."
"My mom's into it, and she’s done a great job of letting me choose and find things that I like and just giving me options," Dart told GQ. "At the same time, it's just something that I've come to really love and to express myself in different ways."
Dart added that even in college, he'd reach out to his mom for fashion advice.
"A lot of times for pre-game walkouts and whatnot, I'll give her a heads-up of what I'm thinking. And then if I have any questions, if I'm deciding between one fit or the other, I'll reach out to her to get her opinion—if it's too far out there or if it's okay," Dart told GQ. "I've relied on her for a lot of things in the fashion world. At the same time, I think she gives great input. She worked at Nordstrom growing up, so she's always been a part of it."

Where is Jaxson Dart from?
Dart was born in Kaysville, Utah. He attended Roy High School for his first three years of high school, then transferred to Corner Canyon High School, which is in Draper, Utah.
Dart, who also played baseball in high school, threw for 4,691 passing yards, 67 touchdowns, and four interceptions as a senior, leading his team to a state championship.
