The quarterback room for the New York Giants got crowded very quickly.
Just this offseason, the Giants signed veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency, and they drafted Jaxson Dart No. 25 overall after trading back into the first round.
That leaves the one returner, Tommy DeVito aka Tommy Cutlets, in a tough spot. Through no fault of his own, he's probably now on the outside looking in.

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport sees the writing on the wall. He expects the Giants to cut DeVito before the season gets underway.
"It has been a wild ride for DeVito—the undrafted rookie who was forced to start six games as a rookie," Davenport writes. "In those six starts, DeVito was actually OK—he completed 64 percent of his passes, tossed eight touchdowns against just three picks and led the Giants to three wins. DeVito made two more starts last year and even completed north of 70 percent of his throws. But he also averaged just 5.8 yards per attempt and averaged just 85.7 passing yards per game... The Giants aren’t going to carry four quarterbacks, and while New York would likely love to stash DeVito on the practice squad, there are just too many teams with atrocious backups for him to clear waivers."

There will be Giants fans who really, really, really don't like the idea of getting rid of DeVito. He took on a bit of cult hero status since coming to New York after splitting his college career between Syracuse and Illinois.
He has enough talent to stick around the NFL in some capacity. As a QB2 or QB3 somewhere, DeVito can fit right in.
But the Giants remodeled their QB depth chart this offseason and clearly didn't see room for DeVito. At this point, it seems a matter of when, not if, he will be sent packing.
The cutlets are going to have to find a new home.
