An established NFL starter is making sure the league knows he wants back in the game after a serious injury.
That's offensive guard Will Hernandez, who tore his ACL last season. He wrote on social media that he's recovered and ready to go.
Hernandez is currently a free agent looking for his next opportunity.
"Football got taken away from me 9 months ago," he wrote on Instagram. "It was the hardest thing that's ever happened to me. This has been my entire life. Many said that was it for me."
Hernandez was a second-round pick by the Giants in 2018. He started 56 games in four seasons with New York.
The 6-foot-2, 332-pound Hernandez then joined the Cardinals and started all 35 games he played for Arizona.

Hernandez will turn 30 in September.
"Whatever y'all going through (right now) use me as proof that with hard work you can make anything happen," Hernandez wrote.
It's the time of year when teams can definitely use more offensive linemen, especially as injuries start to hit. Hernandez will be a quality signing for whatever team is lucky enough to give him his chance back on an NFL field.
