Just one week after firing Jerod Mayo, the New England Patriots picked four candidates, completed all four interviews and agreed to a deal with Mike Vrabel to become the next head coach of their team.
Vrabel, 49, brings years of playing and coaching experience, including six seasons as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, that should be valuable for his task of turning around a Patriots team that finished 4-13 in back-to-back seasons.
