Vikings selection of J.J. McCarthy sparked impressive streak image

Ever since the Minnesota Vikings selected Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy at 10th overall, the question mark at quarterback was thought to be solved. Sure, you can argue about wanting North Carolina's Drake Maye, LSU's Jayden Daniels or Washington's Michael Penix Jr., but they were all off the board.

The Vikings didn't settle for McCarthy either, as they traded up for him and he fits the offense like a glove. His presence with the Vikings and in Minnesota hasn't gone unnoticed, especially when you consider the other teams in the state.

Since the Vikings selected McCarthy, the other Minnesota teams have gone on a winning streak and haven't lost a game.

he Minnesota Twins are on a 12-game winning streak and the Minnesota Timberwolves have won their first five playoff games since losing in the regular season finale four days before the NFL Draft.

Can we attribute this to McCarthy? Not really. However, it's an incredible coincidence.
