Did the Minnesota Vikings draft Superman to be their quarterback of the future? Well, there's a non-zero chance that they did.

With the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Vikings selected Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy and he is primed to be the guy for the next 10-15 years. Now, there are a lot of things that need to happen during that time, but he has the talent to thrive in arguably the best infrastructure in the National Football League for a rookie quarterback.

With rookie minicamp days away, McCarthy was back in Ann Arbor, Michigan celebrating. No, he wasn't celebrating making the NFL. He was graduating from the University of Michigan and did so with a Superman pose with teammate Blake Corum and Heisman Trophy-winning Michigan alum Desmond Howard.

Yeah, he's going to be a fan favorite quickly, unless you don't like DC Comics.
