The Minnesota Vikings have gotten their quarterback. They traded up to 10th overall to select Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
The Vikings haven't ever taken a quarterback at 10th overall and they did on Thursday night. McCarthy has a lot of talent and a perfect situation to help develop him. There was some discontent in not take Drake Maye early on, but they get the guy they need in McCarthy.
The fanbase is really excited to have a quarterback of the future and they expressed it on social media.
