Strengths

  • Displays a quick trigger downhill. When he sees something happening in front of him, Bishop attacks with controlled aggression.
  • Takes good angles in the open field. Puts himself in position to make a play.

  • Has ability to play all over the defense, including playing man coverage against tight ends and the occasional slot receiver.

Weaknesses

  • Doesn't have ideal length for a safety with 29 3/4" arms.
  • Gets himself out of position by getting too aggressive.
  • Can get lost around the line of scrimmage on run plays

Bishop got the lowest second-round grade I can give but he earned it. If you want a versatile safety with an old-school mentality, Bishop is the player for you.
