The Miami Dolphins have made the AFC playoffs as a wild-card team behind the Bills in the first two years under coach Mike McDaniel. They still have a chance to go three-for-three at the end of the 2024 NFL regular season.

The Dolphins (8-8) go into their finale at the Jets (Sunday. 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox) needing a win and some help to keep the streak alive and nab the third and final wild-card spot as a No. 7 seed for McDaniel.

The Dolphins entered Week 18 at 8-8, needing just a win and a Broncos loss to reach the playoffs. Miami's hopes were vanquished by Denver's 38-0 win over the Chiefs, however, and the Dolphins lost to the Jets at MetLife Stadium to finish the season with a losing record.
