The Los Angeles Rams were set to pick No. 26 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, they were given an offer that was far too good to pass on from the Atlanta Falcons.
Atlanta took Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker with the 16th overall pick, but still needed an edge rusher. To do so, they traded an insane haul to the Rams to get the No. 26 pick, which they used to select Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr.
In total, the Falcons sent a 2025 second-round pick, a 2025 seventh-round pick, and a 2026 first-round pick to the Rams. The Rams also sent back a 2025 third-rounder, but that loss is heavily outweighed by what they got in return.
