Jalen Ramsey and the Miami Dolphins seem headed for a divorce, a situation that has been brewing all offseason. The only things that need to be determined are when will a trade take place and which team will acquire him?

Logan Ulrich of NFL Trade Rumors sees the Los Angeles Chargers as one of the most likely teams to make that move.

The Chargers lost Kristian Fulton in free agency and at least thus far, have chosen not to bring back Asante Samuel Jr. They did sign Donte Jackson and Benjamin St-Juste in free agency but having to put too much on the plates of second-year players Cam Hart and Tarheeb Still may not be in the team's best interests.

Ramsey could provide the talent and veteran leadership that puts the Chargers' secondary and overall defense over the top in 2025.

It would be an interesting move for the Chargers as many fans felt that the team should have taken Ramsey with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 draft. Instead, they chose Joey Bosa and Ramsey went two picks later to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Since then, Ramsey has been traded twice, first from the Jaguars to the Los Angeles Rams and then from the Rams to the Dolphins. But in that time frame, he has earned a reputation as one of the best cover corners in the league, as evidenced by his seven Pro Bowl selections.

Ramsey has 24 career interceptions but it's the overall attitude and cover skills he would bring to the defense that a team would be trading for. Ramsey is one of those players that talks a lot on the field but generally backs it up.

Depending on what the move would cost, this would be a winning move for the Bolts.
