The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best young defenses in the NFL, and young cornerback Trent McDuffie is a big part of that.
McDuffie was drafted by the Chiefs in the 2022 NFL Draft, and since then, he has appeared in three Super Bowls, winning two.
Even though McDuffie is a star, the Chiefs could use another corner to complement him, and Michael Canelo from Kansas City Chiefs On SI thinks Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander would be a good fit for the team.
"One position they needed to fill was the cornerback position, and they did address it in the draft," Canelo wrote. "But the Chiefs can possibly make a trade that will bring in one of the best cornerbacks in the National Football League to Kansas City. The Chiefs can go out and trade for Jaire Alexander from the Green Bay Packers. Alexander is a pro bowler who can make the Chiefs' defense elite."
Alexander has spent seven seasons with the Packers, recording 12 interceptions in 78 games, but the 28-year-old cornerback has failed to stay on the field the last two seasons, only appearing in 14 games since 2023 due to injuries.

Alexander has appeared in two Pro Bowls, the last one coming in 2022, when he played in 16 games.
If the Chiefs were to move for Alexander, he could come in and be the No. 2 cornerback and step up to a No. 1 role if McDuffie missed some time.
