The Kansas City Chiefs added a new running back on Tuesday.
And while Michael Wiley won't be favored to make the final roster, he's got a skillset that Andy Reid may appreciate.
Wiley was undrafted out of Arizona in 2024. With the Wildcats, he made 123 catches.
Reid certainly knows how to use a pass-catching back.
Wiley also had 28 total touchdowns in his college career. He's got 4.51-second 40-yard dash speed.
He comes from the Washington Commanders, who signed him last season. He spent the season on their practice squad.

Kansas City's running back depth chart is pretty full already.
Isiah Pacheco is assumed to be atop it. Kareem Hunt and Elijah Mitchell are both there as veterans, too.
The Chiefs drafted Brashard Smith in the seventh round out of SMU, so it seems likely he'll make the team, too.
Kansas City may keep Carson Steele, too. He's been listed as a fullback.

Wiley's best chance may be to stick on the practice squad.
If he can hang out with Kansas City, there'll be plenty of great minds and influences for Wiley to learn from.
Wiley is hoping he has a long football career left, and it'll probably be as a journeyman, but joining these Chiefs is a good next step.
