When people think of the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one of the first thoughts that comes to mind.
Mahomes has made himself one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, winning three Super Bowls before 30.
However, Mahomes couldn't have won the three Super Bowls without having a great defense, and the last two Super Bowl victories were helped by cornerback Trent McDuffie, who made Pro Football Focus' Jonathon Macri list of the best players under the age of 25.
"McDuffie went from being a top-five nickel cornerback in PFF overall grade for Steve Spagnuolo’s defense in 2023 to a top-five outside cornerback in 2024. He is the NFL's highest-graded cornerback since 2023 (89.7)," Macri wrote. "McDuffie has earned an 89.4 PFF coverage grade since entering the league in 2022, which is a top-five mark among all cornerbacks and makes him the only one in the top 10 to have spent more than 25% of their career snaps in the slot."
McDuffie has recorded two interceptions and 4.5 sacks in three seasons in Kansas City in 43 games.

McDuffie has been known to follow around the opposing team's best receiver and has done a good job since his team has reached the Super Bowl every year he has been in the NFL.
