Andy Reid and Travis Kelce have been together for a long time.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach is heading into his 13th season with his star tight end.
There may not be many left.
There have been plenty of rumors about Kelce retiring. There's no official word yet on whether this is Kelce's last season or not.
But this week, Reid spoke to reporters and shared what he thought about the possibility of a Kelce retirement.
"You hope he plays forever, but that's probably not gonna happen to any of us,” Reid said. “So whenever he decides to hang it up, he's built a great legacy here. And if he decides this is it, it's it. If not, more power to him."

That doesn't particularly clear anything up, either, but it's a nice sentiment from Reid regardless.
Kelce is 35 now, and he's coming off a season that saw him decline greatly in yards per catch.
He's one of the best tight ends ever, and a menace after the catch, but Kelce was quiet late in the postseason, and the Chiefs were blown out by the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Kelce certainly wants a chance to avenge that, but there's only so much football left in him.
Reid, 67, will try to savor whatever time he has left with Kelce.
"Anytime you're with a guy for 13 years, you end up being close to that player," Reid said. "And so I've watched him grow as a player, as a man."
