Aside from being one of the NFL’s premier wide receivers, Tyreek Hill has also shown off an elite sense of humor.
One example came earlier this month on schedule release day, when the Indianapolis Colts posted a viral video that included a jab at Hill for his 2024 arrest that came after a traffic stop on his way to Miami’s Week 1 game at Hard Rock Stadium. The Colts deleted the post and released a public apology to Hill, who responded that the video was funny and should never have been taken down.
Hill was at it again in a recent viral clip during a live stream, where he commented on Buffalo Bills fans jumping through tables and also weighed in on polarizing rookies Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders.
Clearly staged, Hill was asked during the stream what he thinks about Hunter, the two-way star from Colorado who the Jacksonville Jaguars went all-in on during the 2025 NFL Draft.
“He going to be ass,” Hill deadpanned, as a troll job to social media clip farmers. He clarified that he was joking and said Hunter will be a “dawg” in the NFL as a wide receiver.
Hill’s comments carry significant weight, as he too was considered a “project” at wide receiver when he was drafted in the fifth round by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft. Kansas City originally utilized his skills as a return specialist and gadget player on offense, but he quickly developed and ascended into one of the most dynamic all-around wide receivers in the NFL.

Hunter’s a more polished receiver coming out of college than Hill was, but he’s considered a project player himself after splitting time on offense and defense throughout his tenures at Jackson State and Colorado. He’ll need to develop precision with his route running against NFL cornerbacks, and it’s possible head coach Liam Coen gets creative with Hunter’s role, featuring his elite skills in the screen game while finding other ways to get the ball in his hands out of the chute.

Hunter’s a little taller than Hill at 6-foot-1, but they have similar builds and rely on their elite speed and agility to create separation and make plays in space.
If Hunter’s poised for a similar trajectory as Hill — a six-time All-Pro with five career 1,200-plus yard seasons and 90 total touchdowns — the Jaguars’ investment will be a grand slam.
