The Jacksonville Jaguars have some opportunity in the back half of their wide receiver depth chart.

They've also got one guy who spent his college career putting up massive numbers that you may never have heard of.

His name is Joshua Cephus, and he was a legend at Texas-San Antonio (UTSA).

Cephus had 313 catches and 3,639 yards in his UTSA career.

He was on the Jags' practice squad in 2024, appearing in just one regular season NFL game.

Now, he's got a chance to contribute.

"He certainly looks to be trending toward that direction after a strong offseason program that saw (head coach Liam) Coen himself highlight him," writes SI's John Shipley.

The Jaguars' receiving corps will be led by Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr.

They also return exciting young wideout Parker Washington.

Beyond that, though, there's opportunity.

Keep an eye on Cephus. He's proven he can catch the football over and over again when called upon.

It'll be up to him to prove he deserves a real NFL chance.
