With a reliable starter entering the final year of his contract, the Jacksonville Jaguars decided it was time to hand out a new deal.
On Monday, the Jags announced a four-year extension with Logan Cooke.
Cooke has been Jacksonville's punter since his time as a seventh-round pick in 2018.
He has played all but four games in his time with the Jaguars.
Cooke set a career-high in net yards per punt in 2024, at 44.8. He was then invited to the Pro Bowl and named second-team All-Pro.

The right-footed punter was entering the final year of his current deal, which will pay him a base salary of $2.87 million. He'll likely get at least a bit of a raise in the new contract.
The Mississippi State product is now on the books through the 2029 season.
Jacksonville will be hoping not to see Cooke on the field too much in this upcoming season. The Jaguars want to see another leap from quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
But when the Jags need to play the field position game, they know they've got Cooke to call on for the foreseeable future.
