Colts' QB competition between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones is officially on image

It's game on in Indianapolis.

Anthony Richardson's right shoulder is healthy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Just in time for training camp.

And just in time for the quarterback competition brewing between Richardson and Daniel Jones.

In one corner, it's the third-year QB hoping to escape the bust label. In the other, it's the veteran seeking a fresh start and opportunity.

"Richardson, who has missed 17 games with injuries in his first two seasons, still has the requisite physical talent to not just win the starting job but also become a highly dangerous NFL QB," ESPN's Ben Solak wrote earlier this week. "Since he's younger (23) and far more naturally skilled, the Colts want him to win the job."

The Colts haven't been able to solve the quarterback position since Andrew Luck's shock retirement.

For Richardson, it's now or never. Jones wouldn't be a long-term solution.

If Richardson doesn't stick, the Colts will be looking for another new guy.
