Indianapolis Colts third-year quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered an apparent right hand injury during Friday's preseason action and was removed from the game.

The play happened in the first quarter during the Colts' second drive when Baltimore Ravens linebacker David Ojabo went unblocked around the edge and delivered a big sack on an unsuspecting Richardson.

Richardson was officially ruled "out" shortly thereafter.

While reports remained unconfirmed at this time, still-shots of the post-play action appear to show the pinky on Richardson's right hand (throwing hand) bent at an awkward angle

Richardson is entering his third season in a quarterback battle with former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

So far, a starter has not been named - with the first depth chart showing an "or" between the two quarterback's names rather than a clearly-defined order.
