Aaron Rodgers appears to be honing in on his free agent destination.

That's the feeling that Pro Football Talk insider Mike Florio gets.

Florio wrote Sunday night that Rodgers is a "safe bet" to join the Pittsburgh Steelers.

What's less certain is exactly when Rodgers will actually sign, but that's relatively irrelevant compared to the actual matter of where the future Hall of Famer plays his age-41 season.

Rodgers visited with the Steelers for six hours on Friday. Pittsburgh actually skipped Michigan's Pro Day entirely to throw all its resources at Rodgers' visit.

The Steelers are replacing the tandem of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at the QB position. Fields is now the Jets starter, replacing Rodgers, while Wilson is still a free agent.

Florio admits that things could still change in this process, but as of Sunday night, there's a real belief that Rodgers will play for Mike Tomlin and the Steelers.

And if that happens, Rodgers will also get to play a home game in 2025 against the Packers, which would be his first such matchup with his first NFL team.
