The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers have routinely been considered among the top landing spots for Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson amid trade speculation and that was reflected in recent betting odds.

DraftKings posted odds for what team Hendrickson will play for in 2025 after trade rumors began heating up again recently and the Lions and Packers were third and fifth on the list, respectively.

Rounding out the top five were the Bengals, Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts. Here's the order in which they were placed:

  • Cincinnati Bengals (-450)
  • Carolina Panthers (+500)
  • Detroit Lions (+800)
  • Indianapolis Colts (+1000)
  • Green Bay Packers (+1000)

NFL insider Jordan Schultz recently listed the Panthers and Colts as two teams that have shown interest in a trade for Hendrickson, along with the Cleveland Browns.

The Lions and Packers could definitely use more help along the edge, also.

Aidan Hutchinson is the only player on the roster to tally more than four sacks in 2024 and the Lions are depending on the injury-prone Marcus Davenport to start opposite him following the release of Za'Darius Smith.

Meanwhile, the Packers need more juice opposite Rashan Gary. Green Bay is hoping Lukas Van Ness can step up this season, but that's hardly a guarantee to happen after what we've seen of the disappointing former first-round pick.

Acquiring Hendrickson won't be easy, as the Bengals are reportedly looking for a young defensive player and a 2026 first-round pick in a trade.

While Hendrickson is valuable as one of the best edge rushers in the league, teams may balk at giving up that much knowing they also have to extend him on a deal that should pay north of $30 million annually.

Hendrickson's age (31 in December) won't help, either.
