Denver Broncos Wild Card inactives: Team makes interesting decision at RB image

The Denver Broncos have announced their inactives for their Wild Card matchup with the Buffalo Bills, and one decision will raise some eyebrows. Rookie running back Audric Estime will be a healthy scratch on Sunday.

Instead, the Broncos will use Tyler Badie who was recently activated from injured reserve. Badie has not played since Week 4.

Estime has played in 13 games this season and has been in the lineup every game since Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The rookie has 310 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the season.

Badie last played in Week 4 against the New York Jets when he suffered a scary injury on a rain-soaked field at MetLife Stadium. He has been on injured reserve ever since, but he will return to the lineup for the playoffs as the team's No. 3 running back behind Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin.

Buffalo Bills Wild Card inactives

Two former Broncos players will be inactive for the Bills on Sunday.

Mike White, QB (emergency QB)
Kaair Elam, CB
Brandon Codrington, KR/PR
Ryan Van Demark, OL
DeWayne Carter, DT
Kareem Jackson, S
Jalen Virgil, WR

This Wild Card game will kick off at 11:00 AM MT and it will be televised on CBS. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will call the game.
