Courtland Sutton confirms he will be at Denver Broncos minicamp image

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who has stepped away from the team while pursuing a new deal, will be at the team's upcoming minicamp from June 11-13. The minicamp is mandatory and players can face steep fines for not attending.

Appearing on the DNVR Broncos on Thursday, Sutton was asked directly if he will be attending the team's minicamp and he has this to say:

Sutton said he would be there and said "It's been killin' me not being able to be at OTAs". There was no hesitation in his voice about being back with his teammates and he went on to talk about how badly he wants to help the Broncos get back to the playoffs and bring winning football to Denver.

Sutton will earn $13.6 million in 2024 but is looking for a marginal pay increase, perhaps into the $15-16 million range. He was tied for fourth in the league with 10 receiving touchdowns last season and Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins was the only player in the AFC with more.

Sutton will finally be able to take the field with first-round draft pick Bo Nix, who said he was excited to see the team select in the draft.

It remains to be seen if Sutton will get the additional money that he is looking for, but this is tremendous news for the Broncos.
