The NFL Draft is a time of year when everyone has an opinion.

And in this modern, connected world, it's very easy to share those takes, too. That's how we wind up with Kansas City Royals legend Eric Hosmer sharing a wild prediction involving Shedeur Sanders and the Dallas Cowboys.

Hosmer posted on X earlier on Friday that Sanders is going to be picked in the fourth round by the Cowboys. Not only that, but Dallas will trade into an extra pick to finally stop what would at that point be a monstrous slide.

If Sanders gets to the fourth round, Mel Kiper Jr.'s head might erupt. The ESPN draft expert has Sanders as his QB1, even ahead of Cam Ward.

Hosmer doesn't necessarily have any reason to know what's going to happen. He's just having a bit of fun on social media.

Would the Cowboys complain about this, though? No way.

They'd get an heir apparent to Dak Prescott, and it'd bring Deion Sanders' son to the team he starred for in the league.

Shedeur would get to sit and learn and potentially step into a starring role of his own.

It's a fun take by Hosmer. Shedeur Sanders probably won't make it that far, but a Cowboys family reunion would be a cool outcome.
