There was speculation that Morgan Wallen could walk with Shedeur Sanders during his infamous pre-concert walkout for his August 15 and 16 shows in Cleveland at Huntington Bank Field. Wallen is in town for a two-night stand with his I’m the Problem Tour.

KNTY 103.5 speculated that Sanders or Myles Garrett could be brought out by the Tennessee native.

“Sports enthusiasts are hopeful for an appearance by Myles Garrett, the Cleveland Browns’ powerhouse. Wallen’s known affection for football could make Garrett’s presence a fitting tribute to the city’s athletic spirit,” Real Country 103.5 speculated.

“Another sports figure in the mix is Shedeur Sanders, the recently drafted Browns quarterback. While currently fourth on the depth chart, his rising profile makes him a topic of conversation. Would Wallen take a chance on this rising star?”

On August 15, Wallen did not take a chance on Sanders. He also didn’t have Garrett’s presence.

Wallen did have Kid Rock, a Detroit native, walk out, though.

Still, Wallen hit Sanders’ signature wristwatch celebration for the Cleveland crowd. Or at least a dramatic variation of it.

As Sanders navigates the Browns’ four-man quarterback competition, it helps that one of the biggest musicians in the world is giving him a spotlight at his home stadium in front of 67,000-plus fans.
