Founder of Browns Dawg Pound reveals that he never wanted to play in Cleveland image

The Cleveland Browns are 3-10 and the 2024 season hasn't been particularly kind to Cleveland or their fans. With the record as bad as it is, one would have to wonder if the Browns will struggle to lure free agents this offseason, and if certain players would rather play anywhere else but Cleveland. Speaking of that, a Browns great recently revealed that he didn't want to come to Cleveland after being drafted.

While speaking on his show The Hanford Dixon ShowHanford Dixon revealed he was nervous about going to Cleveland.

"I didn't want to come here," Dixon said. "I didn't want to play in the snow. 

Dixon was born on Christmas day in Mobile, Alabama and went to college at Southern Mississippi - needless to say snow wasn't exactly something he was used to dealing with in his early life. Despite that, the founder of the Dawg Pound was a three-time All-Pro and a two-time Pro Bowl selection in his nine-year career, all of which he spent with the Browns.
